Who am I?

My work deals with philosophy of biology and conceptual-theoretical biology. My research focuses on philosophy of immunology, microbiology, developmental biology, and physiology, often at the interface between philosophy of biology and philosophy of medicine.

My Research Projects

I am the PI of the ERC-funded IDEM project.

I am also involved in our group research on the understanding of immune responses; immunity and repair at the body’s boundaries; immunity, mobility and aging; our different microbiota projects; and cancer and tumor microenvironment. (See Description of group projects).
